As a Café Associate at the Gather Café at Great Bay Community College, Sharon plans, prepares and serves well-balanced, delicious meals to the school’s community of students, staff, and visitors. She brings her culinary creativity, knowledge of local food systems, and passion for service to her role daily.  

Sharon has more than a decade of experience working for restaurants, bakeries, farms, and food production operations across the Seacoast region. These roles sparked a deeper interest in larger systems and policy issues impacting hunger and nutrition in the local community. Sharon was once a Great Student herself, receiving an Associate's Degree in Environmental Science in 2020. She then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems from the University of New Hampshire.  

Food has always been a central part of Sharon’s life. She is proud to share her kitchen skills and education with Gather, an organization that she has long admired.  

A lifelong Seacoast resident, Sharon enjoys gardening, dancing, making art, exploring nature, and getting lost in a good book.
