Participation & Accessibility Statement

Gather is committed to providing inclusive and equitable access to all our programs. We welcome participants of all backgrounds and abilities and strive to offer reasonable accommodations that support meaningful participation, in accordance with applicable laws.

Due to the nature of our culinary workforce training program—including the use of commercial kitchen equipment, adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, and participation in a fast-paced, team-based environment, participants must be able to safely engage in the essential functions of the program, with reasonable accommodations.

We will make every good-faith effort to provide appropriate support within our capacity. However, accommodations cannot fundamentally alter the nature of the program, create an undue burden, or compromise the health and safety of participants or staff.

Gather is not a clinical or therapeutic program. There may be circumstances where an individual’s needs exceed the scope of support we can provide. In these cases, participation may not be appropriate if essential program requirements cannot be met or if participation would pose a safety concern.

Participants who require accommodation are encouraged to communicate their needs in advance so that we can work together to identify appropriate support. When the program is not the right fit, we will make every effort to connect individuals with more suitable resources or services.
