We encourage our friends and neighbors to share the bounty of their home gardens with Gather members. Providing healthy food options is a mission of Gather and with the support of our community members, we will be able to offer even more nutritious, fresh options of fruit and vegetables in our Pantry Market.
Community Gardens Growing Fresh Produce
Gather also manages gardens in Portsmouth, at Timberland in Stratham, The Chase Home, and at Tuckaway Farm in Lee. Fresh produce is grown at each of these gardens and delivered to Gather for our various programs.

Gleaning Initiatives
Gather facilitates NH Gleans: a statewide network of farms and community organizations, committed to reducing agricultural food waste and feeding families and individuals in the Granite State.
Gather partners with farms across the region to recover and harvest food that the farmers would otherwise have to toss. The harvest is then brought to our markets or repurposed into delicious prepared meals in our Cooking for Community kitchens.
