Scott Wood serves as Gather's Director of Operations, overseeing the systems, people, and processes that help Gather operate effectively and fulfill its mission across the Seacoast. With extensive experience in operations management, team leadership, vendor relations, inventory, and cost management, Scott brings a results-driven and collaborative approach to his work. 

Scott spent more than two decades with Shaw's Supermarket, where he managed grocery operations, including ordering, inventory, scheduling, budgeting, financial performance, staff development, and continuous improvement. He previously served as a manager with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, overseeing branch operations, staff, budgeting, customer relationships, and business development. Scott holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire. 

 Having grown up in Dover, Scott has strong ties to the Seacoast and is excited to work for a local organization making a difference in the community. Throughout his career, he has also helped lead fundraising efforts for charitable causes, including the ALS Association and Alex's Lemonade Stand. 

Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling internationally, and following his favorite soccer team, Arsenal. He is also an animal lover and enjoys life with his 14-pound Chinese Crested, Axel Rose.
