Jenny MacMurdo serves as Gather's Development Manager, bringing extensive experience in nonprofit and organizational leadership, operations, and community engagement to her role. Through her work, she creates meaningful opportunities for new and existing donors to connect with Gather's mission, strengthening relationships, and building a broad base of support for the organization. 

Before joining Gather, Jenny served as Grants & Operations Administrator for the Foundation for Seacoast Health, managing grant and scholarship processes and supporting the organization's day-to-day operations. She also spent nearly a decade as President and CEO of chambers of commerce in California, where she led organizational operations, fiscal management, staff and volunteer teams, and relationships with community stakeholders and local government. 

For Jenny, working to meet the needs of a community's most vulnerable members provides a sense of purpose. She values the opportunity to be part of work where the impact on others is both real and deeply felt. 

Outside of work, Jenny enjoys kayaking and camping with her family, Kevin and Finnegan, and is always working toward her ambitious annual reading goal.
