Kate joined the Gather team in the summer of 2022, as Pantry Market Coordinator, after working as a Food Rescue Coordinator for Lovin’ Spoonfuls in Boston. Originally from Eliot, she wanted to bring her passion for combating food waste and food insecurity back to her local community.

Now, as Community Engagement Manager, she is working with local organizations and businesses on the Seacoast to spread awareness about Gather’s mission.

Kate received her B.A. in Political Science and Women’s and Gender Studies from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts. Outside of Gather, you can find her reading, collecting vinyl, cooking new recipes, and seeing local music.
