Kate joined the Gather team in the summer of 2022, as Pantry Market Coordinator, after working as a Food Rescue Coordinator for Spoonfuls in Boston. Originally from Eliot, she wanted to bring her passion for combating food waste and food insecurity back to her local community.

Now, as Events and Engagement Manager, she is working with local organizations, businesses, and individuals on the Seacoast to spread awareness about Gather’s mission.

Kate received her B.A. in Political Science and Women’s and Gender Studies from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts. She is a proud Leadership Seacoast alumna (Class of 2025) and is a member of the Admissions Committee. Outside of Gather, you can find her reading, collecting vinyl, and seeing local music.
